The Origin

A barista who asked a different question.

Good News Good Brew started the way a lot of good things do — quietly, and a little stubbornly. Founder Zavier Jean-Charles began by carrying an espresso machine from house to house, making cortados on kitchen counters for anyone who’d say yes.

He wasn’t chasing a business plan. He was chasing the feeling of a genuinely good cup shared with people who felt seen — and somewhere between the pours, a bigger idea kept knocking.

So he went to learn the craft properly — training at Intelligentsia Coffee — and came back with a conviction: specialty coffee could be the reason people gather, not just the thing in their hands.
